When traveling to Hengchun or Kenting, you absolutely cannot miss the local ultra-characteristic traditional dessert——綠豆蒜（綠豆饡）！

Today, Aru is taking everyone to eat at “柯古早味綠豆饡”, a old-flavor shaved ice shop that many locals keep secret and foodies genuinely recommend. The mung bean soup here is stewed just right, paired with the shop’s signature black sugar syrup sweet soup. In summer, a bowl of icy cool relief is perfect, and in winter, a hot bowl warms the heart and stomach!

Hidden in the alleys, old-flavor taste genuinely recommended by locals

The shop has a simple, friendly local style. Although there is no fancy decor, it is clean and tidy, full of human warmth.

The shop offers few items: one is the original 綠豆蒜, the other is the mixed version

Iced 綠豆饡 (Mixed)

Feature: Topped with fine shaved ice, drizzled with the shop’s special black sugar water. After mixing, it is icy cold with moderate sweetness, the ultimate summer heat-relief weapon when visiting Hengchun.

Loaded with Highlight Toppings

Vermicelli and Q Balls: Chewy with great bite, adding rich texture!
Peanuts, Red Beans, Mung Beans: Peanuts keep a crisp texture, red beans and mung beans are stewed soft and fragrant. Paired with 綠豆蒜, it is the perfect match—refreshing and not sticky.

Aru’s Secret Eating Tip: First-time visitors are recommended to order the “Mixed 綠豆饡” to enjoy all the classic toppings at once! The ice here still retains a grainy texture that gives a thoroughly refreshing chill!
