Hello everyone, I am Tea Sister [Little Cherry]
I've been in this line of work for ten years
Ten years ago, I thought "being good with people" meant agreeing to whatever the client says, apologizing right away if they're unhappy, and finding ways to satisfy whatever they want
Only after doing it for a while did I realize that's not really it
True service isn't about pleasing without principles, but about still being willing to do things well even when facing people with different personalities and needs
Clients have the freedom to choose others
They can compare or choose different service styles, and I respect all of that
Sometimes when a client ultimately doesn't choose me, of course I feel disappointed. Sometimes after spending a lot of time communicating, we still don't end up working together, and it's hard not to feel a bit upset
But over these ten years, I've slowly learned one thing
Don't turn a client's choice into a denial of my own worth
My job is to do the things I can do well
If something needs confirming, I'll make sure it's clear
If a problem arises, I'll face it
If a client is dissatisfied, I'll listen
If it's my own oversight, I'll fix it
If it's not my problem, I won't take all the blame just to keep someone
What I care about now isn't "whether this deal closes"
But whether, after this interaction, the client will feel:
"This person follows through on what they say"
Because business can happen once, or it can last ten years
What truly lasts has never been pretty words once, but credit built time and time again
In the service industry, sometimes you really need more patience, more empathy, and sometimes even to see things from the client's perspective
But I think "understanding" and "being subservient" are not the same
I can respect you
I can listen to your complaints
I can admit my shortcomings
I can also give each other more space for long-term cooperation
But I don't need to feel like I'm not good enough just because you chose someone else
The service spirit I've learned after ten years is actually very simple:
Keep people in your heart
Do things well
Remember your promises
Hold the boundaries
Don't rush to prove yourself, and don't need to win every time
If there's a connection, we work together; if not, we still respect each other
If one day you think of me again, I hope what you think isn't "she's really good at selling," but rather:
"Working with her makes me feel more at ease"
This is probably the one takeaway I most want to leave after ten years
If I happen to have what you happen to need, feel free to contact me
