When I was 18 years old, I stood in front of the camera for the first time, with rawness and nervousness, even my smile wasn't very natural. At that time, I just thought taking photos was a fresh and dreamy thing, like chasing a small fairy tale from my girlhood. All the way to 36 years old, I've gone through the exuberance of youth, as well as lows and confusion. I've once doubted myself because of others' gazes, and also regained confidence under the lens. In these 18 years, I've learned to accept my changes, understand that what time brings is not loss, but a kind of sedimentation. Now, I understand myself better than when I was 18, and I also realize that true beauty is not flawless, but the courage to still smile after experiencing storms.

Outdoor Shoot Personal Information | 500 Sessions of Mindset Growth
I am Taichung model Noguchi Xiaobo, with accumulated experience in flat photography, outdoor shoots, cheongsam and kimono, Japanese-style photobooks, retro style, portrait photography collaborations, nearly 500 sessions so far.
From initially thinking "taking beautiful photos is fun," to now understanding that photography is an artistic exchange completed together by creators and models, my mindset has changed greatly. In the past, I worried about not looking good on camera, angles not perfect enough, and even lost sleep because of others' comments. But now, I care more about whether the photos have a story, emotion, and warmth.
Shooting for me is not just leaving images, but recording myself at every stage. Each shutter click is a process of reconciling with the past. 500 sessions are not for showing off, but a proof of accompanying my own growth.
