🌿Energize and get healed! My daily hydration snacks list | Gum is getting more and more luxurious😂
Recently, I've really felt it—not just that life is busy, even 'energizing' this little thing has started to become more sophisticated. In the past, a cup of coffee and a piece of candy might solve it, but now I'm more concerned about: can it hydrate, relieve stress, and heal myself at the same time?
Like the two packs of Airwaves cold brew coffee flavor gum I have, it's really one of my recent favorite items. Let me conclude first: it's delicious, but really not cheap🤣 A small pack, yet the price quietly soars, giving me the illusion of 'biting money' when eating (laugh).
But why do I still buy it? Because it's not just gum.
☕ Cold brew coffee gum: Energizing + refreshing double effect
This cold brew coffee flavor is quite special, not that kind of overly sweet coffee candy, but rather refreshing with a bit of bitterness. The moment you bite, there's a cooling sensation, followed by the coffee flavor slowly emerging, a bit like taking a sip of iced coffee.
✔ No need to actually drink coffee
✔ No fear of insomnia at night (caffeine is relatively low)
✔ Mouth fresh, mind awake
Especially when you're about to crash at 3 PM, it's really a lifesaver.
💧Why say it's also a 'hydration sense' snack?
Although gum itself isn't water, chewing stimulates saliva secretion, keeping the mouth from drying out, in a way it's a kind of 'hydration sense'. Especially in air-conditioned rooms, during long talks or scrolling phone, this effect is quite noticeable.
👉 Compared to constantly drinking sugary beverages
👉 Or chugging coffee
This way is lighter and less burdensome.
🥜Healing snacks representative: Nut can
Then there's that can of nuts in your hand! Honestly, this kind of thing is really easy to underestimate, but it's super additive.
✔ Has a satisfying crunch (not empty snacks)
✔ With oily aroma, it stabilizes the mood
✔ A little bit is very satisfying
Especially those mildly spicy or flavored ones, it makes you want to eat more, but without the guilt like potato chips.
Sometimes I think—
👉 People aren't hungry, they 'need to be soothed'
In such times, nuts + gum is just right.
😮💨Why do we need 'healing type energizing'?
In the past, energizing was straightforward:
Tired → Coffee
But now it's more like:
Tired → Want to relax → Want to be comfortable → Want to be taken care of
So that's why snacks that combine 'function + emotion' appear:
Chewing brings a sense of security
Aroma helps relax
A small ritual sense makes life less tiring
In plain terms—
It's not just the body that needs to wake up, the heart also needs to be soothed.
💸But I have to complain: Gum has really gotten expensive!
In the past, a strip was just a few dollars, now a small pack is… well, you know😂
Sometimes I really hesitate whether to buy.
But my later mindset is:
👉 If it can help me through a low afternoon
👉 Or stop me from eating junk food
Then it's actually worth it.
(But I still hope it can be cheaper, please🤣)
🌼My little habit sharing
Now my daily routine is probably like this:
Afternoon: 1 piece of gum + a small handful of nuts
Work stuck: Chew one to reboot the mind
Low mood: Slowly eat nuts to stabilize myself
It's really like a 'small self-care ritual'.
✨Conclusion
Sometimes life doesn't need big changes,
A piece of gum, a can of nuts,
Can make the whole day a bit better.
So if you're recently feeling tired, annoyed, unmotivated—
You don't have to force yourself to work harder,
You can also try to 'be kind to yourself'.
Starting with a refreshing piece of gum isn't bad🍃
