[Tainan](Stay-Hotel) 雀府 Chief Affordable Homestay in the alleys of West Central District, super convenient location　

This 雀府 Chief Homestay is located deep inside a super narrow alley, 

so you need to follow the map carefully to find it

The entire building is a renovated old house, so the soundproofing is rather average

But because it's inside an alley, it's very quiet at night

Check-in here is self-service; you'll receive the passwords for the ground floor door and the room before arrival

After entering, there's a huge blackboard covered with drawings of famous nearby landmarks and food spots, 

On the first floor there's a small sofa for resting

Opposite the sofa is a communal kitchen area and the elevator

However... the elevator is not open for guests to use~~~

The communal kitchen has a large refrigerator available for use

There are sticky notes and a pen on the fridge; remember to write your room number and the date of storage on the note

This helps the cleaning staff know which room it belongs to and reduces disputes

There's a large trash bin by the wall for sorting recyclables

Next to it are a sink / small frying pan / induction cooker / microwave / shared cups, 

If you use them, remember to clean up after yourself

Further inside is the accommodation area, 

You need to take off your shoes and change into slippers; there's a shoe rack and slippers available at the very back

This is a self-service guesthouse, so if you're worried about your shoes disappearing, it's recommended to bring them back to your room~~ 

On the shelf nearby there's a small first-aid kit and alcohol available for use

This time we stayed on the second floor, so we had to take the stairs up

Each floor has only two rooms, with a shared water dispenser in between for refilling water

Each room has its own name and all use password locks for entry

The host will send you the room name and password via message before check-in

Check-in after 4 PM, check-out at 11 AM

This is a pet-friendly guesthouse, but an extra cleaning fee is charged for bringing pets

That's reasonable... because cleaning becomes more troublesome

From the floor plan, you can see

that the accommodation area has front and back sections, both accessible by stairs

The room isn't too small and the layout is quite good, 

On the right side after entering is a small living room area, and on the left is the bathroomThe small living room is only separated by simple pillars and railings, making the space feel more open

The room switches and outlets are on the wall at the entrance of the small living room

A dehumidifier is also provided for use

The small living room has a two-seater sofa and a small table

The LCD TV is quite large for this space, which is nice

Along the wall there are only two small hangers, like an open closet, 

The number of hangers is a bit insufficient~~~ 

In the corner there's also a large electric fan available for use

Next to the sofa there's free tea bags / coffee, and a kettle for boiling water

The bedroom space is quite spacious, with a standard double bed, 

There's a small outlet at the head of the bed

Along the wall there's a small vanity table with a hairdryer availableThe bathroom design is very minimalist and clean, 

It's a semi-wet/dry separated design,

Because the shower area is separated by half a glass panel without a door or curtain

So water can easily splash outside~~~

Toiletries include body wash and shampoo, located on the wall next to the shower head

The water temperature is good, and the water pressure is decent too

Because the shower connects to the air conditioner drainage system,

If the AC is on, the shower floor can sometimes get a bit wet~~ be careful

In terms of space, this guesthouse is quite spacious,  

The facilities are very standard for a light-travel guesthouse; all the basics are provided

It's less than a 10-minute walk to Guohua Street, and right at the alley entrance is the famous Pharmacist's Private Red Tea

Considering the price and location, it's very suitable for friends who want a quick little trip or flash visit~
