This Guguan hot spring hotel is already considered a well-established hotel in Guguan.
Starting from its initial name "Mingxin Hot Spring Hostel," it has been expanded and updated, surviving the 921 earthquake, and was renamed "Guguan Hot Spring Hotel."
The hotel's location is excellent, right at the entrance of the Guguan Suspension Bridge, with a very large parking lot in front, making it very convenient.
Upon entering the hotel, you can feel a somewhat Japanese-style design.
The reception staff are all local aunts, which can be considered a local business.
Guguan is famous for its hot springs; there is a public pool here that opens in two sessions, with disinfection in between.
You need to wear a swimsuit to soak in the public pool.
This time, I stayed in room 231, so let's quickly unbox it and take a look.
This hotel is quite large, with many rooms available.
Some floors even have meeting rooms that can be rented for events.
The entrance is very minimalist, with an open wardrobe and luggage area on one side,
and the bathroom on the other side.
Although the bathroom is small, it is fully equipped.
The recessed washbasin is quite deep, so water splashes won't go outside.
The bathroom design somewhat amazed FenYuan.
Because the shower area has a sliding door design, it can separate wet and dry areas.
However, right next to the shower area is a small bath.
Although the small bath is small, it is very deep, and you can soak down without any problem.
The pebble design gives a sense of outdoor bath, allowing you to enjoy hot springs right in your room.
Walking in further is the room, which faces the stream, and there is a small balcony outside.
On the right side is a desk combined with a mini bar.
Above, you can get water, which is filtered water; additionally, there is a kettle provided to boil water.
Below, the small refrigerator contains free bottled water for you to take.
The room is very minimalist, but has a strong Japanese style, with the headboard specially designed like a traditional Japanese window.
This will make you feel like you are in a Japanese hot spring hotel, very relaxing.
The bedside table also has sockets available for use.
This hotel includes breakfast, and also offers a one night two meals package.
This time, FenYuan only has the breakfast package, so only the breakfast can be unboxed~~~
Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the first floor; during check-in, you will be given breakfast vouchers.
Perhaps because most of the guests here are elders or mountain climbers,
breakfast surprisingly starts at 6:30~~~ (6:30-9:00)
The dining area is huge, with the food collection area at the innermost part of the restaurant.
The tableware is arranged very neatly and cleanly, giving a feeling reminiscent of Japanese hotels.
The collection area was somewhat congested at the bottoms of the tableware, as the congee was placed there.
There is a savory abalone congee and plain congee, as well as white rice.
The abalone congee is very rich in flavor, deliciously salty, with a strong mushroom aroma, highly recommended to have a bowl.
The collection area is relatively spacious, so it won't be congested,
and the variety is quite large, with labels for meat and vegetarian options.
Drinks are quite simple, coffee/orange juice/grape juice.
Additionally, there are both sweetened and unsweetened soy milk available for self-selection.
The toaster can be operated by yourself, with simple butter and jam provided.
In the early morning, there is kelp egg flower soup.
Sesame buns and steamed buns are available in the steamer for self-service.
In the early morning, noodles are available for you to mix as you like,
whether it is meat sauce or black pepper/mushroom sauce/vegetarian spaghetti sauce, they are all available.
The side dish area includes meat floss/chicken nuggets/edamame/firm tofu.
Vegetarian options include gluten/peanuts/green salad/cucumber/young ginger.

Regarding the variety of breakfast, it is actually not bad, and the labels for meat and vegetarian options are very clear.
The variety of green salads early in the morning is quite large!!
To be honest, FenYuan thinks this hotel is quite good, with a great location and convenient parking.
The hot spring facilities are also decent, and the room space is large and clean, which is quite high CP value in Guguan!!
