Manhuang Coffee, a resounding name, situated in the mountains and forests of Nantou, adjacent to Taiwan Provincial Highway 21 Zhongtan Highway, has become a highly noticed check-in hotspot on IG in the Sun Moon Lake area.

Manhuang Coffee, the origin of this brand name, according to the store's fan page, was inspired by young people jokingly referring to the area south of Tai'an Toll Station as the 'barren land'. At that time, specialty coffee was not yet popular in the Nantou region, making this land like a 'desert' for specialty coffee, thus the name 'Manhuang Coffee' aptly carries the intention of promoting local specialty coffee.

Manhuang Coffee, the main building uses a white steel frame structure with warm wood, supplemented by large floor-to-ceiling windows, not only creating a bright and transparent space, but also allowing diners inside to take in the stunning mountain views outside the window.

Inside Manhuang Coffee, the tables and chairs are spaced quite generously, providing a comfortable dining experience. Upon entering, the server will guide and arrange seats; Manhuang Coffee has two floors of dining space, usually starting with the first floor. The basement floor has restrooms and is also the store's exclusive area for roasting beans.

Manhuang Coffee's menu includes 'Low Starch Light Meal' offering light meals and salads; 'Snacks' contains a variety of fried items and appetizers; while 'Main Starch' has pasta, grilled rice, and a series of creative rice dishes combining local characteristics, with meal prices ranging from $180 to $780.

For beverages, Manhuang Coffee offers a variety of coffee, tea drinks, and dessert options. Classic Italian coffee such as espresso, Americano, latte, etc., priced between $120 and $220. For coffee selection, they provide light roast and medium-dark roast options, allowing coffee enthusiasts to choose according to personal preference. The store specially selects locally famous Taiwanese teas, such as Red Jade 18 and Red Rhyme 21, and offers creative drinks like Mocha Granita.

In terms of dining notes, the minimum spend per person is $100, children over 100 cm in height also need to meet the minimum spend, dining time is limited to 90 minutes, and a 10% service charge will be added.

Original Flavor Latte (Light Roast) has a slight charcoal aroma and unique fragrance, with a slightly bitter aftertaste, distinct flavor layers, and overall quite pleasing.

The dessert 'Little Bee' has a rich passion fruit jam filling, paired with white chocolate, outer layer of cake crumbs, bottom layer of tangy lemon filling, chocolate cake, and garnished with nut pieces; the crispy chocolate tart crust adds to the texture.

Another dessert '矫情' features a beautiful berry glaze, containing rum chestnut filling, white wine mousse, black currant mousse, strawberry gummies; the texture and flavor are extremely layered, accompanied by a faint alcohol scent, which is an outstanding choice for those who love the tartness of berries.

'The Neighbor's Croissant Light Meal Plate' includes classic croissants, mixed greens, sherry vinaigrette.
