🐄 History of Tunghai University Dairy Farm
Located in Xitun District, Taichung City, Tunghai University is the first university in Taiwan with a complete animal husbandry education system. The dairy farm has existed since the early days of the school's founding and was originally an important base for providing agricultural and animal husbandry internships and dairy farming education, cultivating countless animal husbandry and agricultural talents.
Tunghai Farm is most famous for its healthy and free-living dairy cows. They grow in large grasslands and open environments, also becoming one of the most healing landscapes on the Tunghai campus. Many people come here not just to see the cows, but as if finding a quiet natural corner in the city to breathe peacefully.

Standing in front of the farm railing, watching the dairy cows quietly grazing and relying on each other, I suddenly felt very touched.
They are not food, not commodities, not cold numbers.
They have eyes, emotions, their own personalities, they can be afraid, they can be attached.
Many dairy cows are eventually sent to the slaughterhouse, ending their short lives.
If possible, I hope everyone has a little more compassion and a little more understanding.
Please cherish life, respect all beings, do not kill.
Every life deserves to be treated gently.

🌿 Shooting Insights
This time coming to Tunghai Dairy Farm for shooting, I felt a very special sense of calm in my heart.
Urban life is always rushed, everyone is in a hurry, rarely stopping to look at the small lives around. But after walking into the farm, the air became slower. The cows bow their heads to graze, the wind blows through the leaves, the sunlight sprinkles on the white railings, time seems to stand still.
I stood there watching them and suddenly felt healed myself.
During shooting, I really liked that kind of natural interaction, no need for deliberate posing, just standing quietly and smiling gently, the frame is beautiful. The atmosphere of Tunghai Farm itself is like a gentle painting.
When shooting with NALI, I also felt the tacit understanding of collaboration. Good photos are not completed unilaterally, but through the trust between photographer and model, to capture the most authentic appearance.
I always believe that photography is not just pressing the shutter, but recording the emotions and stories of the moment.
And on this day, what I remember is not just the smiles in the photos, but also the cows quietly looking into the distance, and the freedom when the wind blows the hair.
