That day we went to the coffee bar in Pinglin for coffee. On holidays there were really a lot of people, and we needed to register for a waiting spot. After registering, we took a walk nearby and looked for a place for lunch, arriving at 「全億茶行」 not far away.
At first, just looking at the store name, I thought it was simply a place selling tea leaves. Later, seeing many people dining and the tea oil chicken we wanted to eat, we decided to have lunch at 全億.
全億茶行 is located on Beiyi Road Section 8, very close to the Qingshui Suspension Bridge. After eating, you can also take a walk on the Fish Protection Trail.
The water in Beishi Creek is clear, and you can see many fish swimming leisurely. When the weather is good, it’s really comfortable, the scenery is beautiful, and it has that slow pace unique to Pinglin.
📍Store Information|全億茶行
•Address: No. 72, Beiyi Road Section 8, Pinglin District, New Taipei City
•Phone: 02-2665-6517
The exterior looks like a traditional tea shop, with an open dining space. There aren’t too many tables, and the overall feel is simple and clean.
No fancy decor, relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere, very suitable for families or small groups to dine. Walking toward the back of the store, you can see the suspension bridge and flowing water scenery.
The menu offers everything from rice and noodles to stir-fries. The highlight is of course Pinglin’s famous tea oil series dishes.
This time there were just two adults and one child, and we still wanted to save room for coffee, so we ordered a few simple items.

Tea Oil Stir-Fried Native Chicken
This dish was truly impressive.
I’ve had quite a few tea oil chickens, but 全億茶行’s version is special—it even includes Tianshan snow lotus. The texture is crisp, stir-fried together with tea oil and native chicken. The aroma is mellow, not greasy at all; instead, it adds a refreshing touch. The more you eat, the more satisfying it becomes.
The native chicken meat is also very tender!
Signature Tea Oil Noodles
The noodles are thin, soft, and not mushy. Tossed simply with tea oil and green onions, they’re light yet satisfying. The tea oil aroma is just right, not overpowering.
Tea Oil Fried Rice
The fried rice our child specifically asked for—each grain distinct and not greasy. It has the tea oil fragrance but doesn’t overpower the flavor. Our son really liked it.
Stir-Fried Vegetables
We ordered Chinese broccoli—simple home-style stir-fried greens. The portion was generous, fresh, and lightly seasoned, perfectly balancing the previous tea oil dishes.
全億茶行’s meals are hearty and reasonably priced. Plus, it’s right next to the Qingshui Suspension Bridge, so after eating you can take a walk to aid digestion. It perfectly matches Pinglin’s slow-paced rhythm of walking and eating slowly.
That plate of tea oil native chicken with Tianshan snow lotus still makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
This place is great for family outings or gatherings with friends. After eating your fill, you can stroll along the Qingshui Suspension Bridge or Fish Protection Trail, or wander around Pinglin Old Street—making for the perfect slow-living afternoon in Pinglin.
