A high-quality restaurant worth a second visit! A pet-friendly Italian pasta shop I recommended before: Compas Pasta House. Last time I only brought Bibi, today I’m bringing Nana along too~ Today I ordered super generous portions of pasta, and both my mom and I were so full~

Located at the corner of an alley, Compas Pasta House features white walls paired with a glass house, creating a truly beautiful and comfortable dining environment!
Although the store isn’t large, it doesn’t feel crowded. It can seat about 5–10 groups of guests, with options including double seats in the glass house area, high chairs, and a bar counter area. My favorite is sitting in the glass house area! The natural lighting is fantastic!
Compas Pasta House has an open kitchen, but there’s no oily smoke at all—only the wonderful aroma of pasta. Because it’s open, you can fully see the ingredients and the preparation process. Compas Pasta House specializes in handmade pasta, so both the fresh pasta and sauces are house-made using natural, high-quality ingredients with no additives, elevating the dining quality~~
One of the main reasons I keep coming back to Compas Pasta House is that it’s pet-friendly! Compas Pasta House warmly welcomes pets to enjoy the delicious food with you and even provides water bowls for them~~
The pasta at Compas Pasta House is all handmade, and I’ve always loved their uniquely shaped noodles!
In addition to ordering main dishes, you can also add set meals:
Post-meal dessert set (dessert + drink) $90
Three Wishes Set (choose 3 out of soup, bread, salad, drink) $180
Today, Mom and I brought Bibi and Nana to eat~ We ordered two plates of pasta and two set meals! The portions are really generous—you’ll definitely be full!
Set Meal (choose 3 out of soup, bread, salad, drink) $180
Super delicious—highly recommended to order the soup and bread! I really love Compas Pasta House’s soups; they’re very rich and you can even taste soft potato chunks~~ Another thing I can’t stop thinking about is this cheesy garlic bread! You can already smell the fragrant garlic aroma before it reaches the table. I highly recommend dipping it in the soup—it’s super satisfying!
Today I ordered an incredibly luxurious and abundant pasta featuring 5 types of seafood: squid, clams, shrimp, fish roe, and sea urchin! The generous plating looks almost too indulgent~~
The clams are huge and very fresh and sweet!
Since Mom loves seafood, I ordered this for her. It also includes our favorite squid. The portion is very generous—the squid is soaked in sauce and full of flavor, with a nice bouncy texture!
The Chewy Tomato Matsusaka Pork Pasta I tried last time was so delicious that I had to order it again~~ The house-made tomato sauce is simmered to perfection, sweet and flavorful, paired with purple onions for layered texture~
Unlike regular pasta, bacon is replaced with Taiwanese Matsusaka pork, slowly pan-fried with thyme and olive oil. The pork absorbs the rich tomato sauce and has a nice charred aroma with excellent elasticity~
Another reason I love this place so much is the torch-shaped pasta! Different from regular spaghetti, this handmade pasta is made from durum wheat and organic duck eggs, giving it a unique aroma~~ The rough surface texture helps the sauce cling, making every bite extra flavorful~
The two drinks that came with the set meals~ I strongly recommend ordering a set meal—whether the $90 or $180 option, both include a drink. Compas Pasta House’s drinks are all very tasty~ The fresh milk tea is on the sweet side but smooth, and Grandma’s Shiso Plum Tea uses plums from Nantou, making it very refreshing!
The set meal dessert is so cute!
It has a thick layer of passion fruit jam on top—super rich~~
Paired with creamy fresh milk pudding—it’s delicious! A perfect palate cleanser after the meal~~
Pasta lovers should definitely come try it, and friends with furry kids especially should visit—this place is perfect for enjoying delicious food with family and friends. Since there aren’t many seats, it’s best to make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment~
