Taking advantage of the holiday to return to my parents' home, I brought my family to revisit the hidden spots of Miaoli Dahu.
Speaking of Dahu, many people's first impression is usually picking strawberries, but actually in the Jiangmayuan community at an elevation of 750 meters, there is a coffee shop with excellent views of the sea of clouds called 'Zhongding Mountain Forest'.
Here, you can not only drink coffee and eat hot pot, the most famous is the 'Old Ginger Foot Steam Bath' that makes you feel completely relaxed; in the cool mountain forest, giving your feet a SPA is really a great enjoyment!
'Zhongding Mountain Forest' is located in the Jiangmayuan Leisure Agriculture Area at the border of Miaoli Dahu and Sanyi.
The Jiangmayuan community has a free parking lot, but on holidays, there are many people, often hard to find a spot; if the parking lot is full, you can look for a white line on the roadside that does not affect traffic safety to park.

Passing through the door with an ancient wooden style, you are greeted by a garden full of greenery and fresh air.
The architecture inside the mountain villa blends natural and Hakka elements, with stone paths lined with lush greenery and warm yellow string lights, creating a very atmospheric vibe whether during the day or evening.
This place has an excellent geographical location, with unobstructed 180-degree vast views, overlooking layers of mountains and distant scenery.
Especially during the winter cloud sea season, if you're lucky, you can see the entire cloud waterfall flowing, really like being in a fairyland.
This time, the focus is on the 'Old Ginger Foot Steam Bath'.
Experience Price: 299 yuan per person
Included Content: 40-minute foot steam experience + one exquisite drink + one tea snack
Thoughtful Reminder: Before the experience, you need to sign an agreement for precautions to ensure your physical condition is suitable for high-temperature foot steaming.
The foot steam bath uses steaming, so there is no water; it uses locally grown two-year-old ginger hemp, through 50-degree hot steam, to soothe the feet.
Sitting in the semi-open seating area facing the mountain views, put your feet into the special wooden bucket, surround with an orange large towel to prevent heat loss; if it's too hot or not warm enough, you can adjust it yourself.
The set includes a drink and a small tea snack, perfect for soaking your feet while eating.
Additionally, they also offer Hakka light meals and specialty hot pots, but unfortunately, we arrived a bit late this time; after the foot steam bath, it was already close to closing time, so we didn't have a chance to try the meals.
After the foot steam bath ended, we went down the mountain to the Dahu town area to eat Hakka cuisine; the place we originally planned to go to had already closed when we arrived, so we switched to the nearby 'Guimei Snacks'.
Guimei Snacks provides set meals with dishes, from three dishes and one soup to six dishes and one soup, divided into medium and large portions; the cheapest three dishes and one soup medium portion is 500 yuan, we ordered the five dishes and one soup.
