The New Taipei North Coast has always been the top choice for Taipei and New Taipei residents to relax on weekdays and holidays. Whether you want to enjoy the sea breeze near the coast or taste fresh seafood or duck meat from Jinshan Old Street, coming here always satisfies expectations for a relaxing trip
When it comes to the highlights of Jinshan North Coast, you absolutely cannot miss the hot springs!!! This time we recommend Jin Tang Hot Spring in Jinshan. Soaking for one hour costs only $500, which means less than $300 per person! The highlight is the free parking spots right at the entrance. After soaking, you can also visit the nearby Wang Wang Sweet Potato Garden for roasted sweet potatoes, and for dinner, head to Jinshan Old Street for duck meat

Driving along Provincial Highway 2 from the North Coast, you can see the elegant and eye-catching exterior of "Jin Tang Hot Spring Resort" from afar
Though not luxurious, the brick-red walls and wooden entrance design look especially cozy against the surrounding scenery. It is only about a five-minute drive from the lively Jinshan Old Street, so even staying overnight here offers places to explore in the evening
Upon entering the resort, the first thing you see is a clean and bright reception lobby. Right next to the lobby are the affordable private baths, and even though they are close to the counter, you won't be disturbed
Jin Tang Hot Spring features a calm gray tone paired with warm lighting, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The most eye-catching feature is the pure white European-style wooden horse sculpture in the center of the lobby, which adds a touch of dreaminess and playfulness to the space
The private bath design at Jin Tang Hot Spring Resort appears to consider comfort and practicality, featuring a dry-wet separation partition design. Although not fully separated, it is much better than the budget baths on Yangmingshan
Upon entering, you first see a small resting area with a small sofa chair positioned next to the partition by the soaking pool, effectively preventing clothes and personal items from getting wet
.
The space inside the private bath is spacious and comfortable, with none of the cramped feeling typical of budget baths on Yangmingshan. It's impressive that such a large space costs under $300 per person, offering great value
The depth and width of the bath are just right, making it easy to enjoy soaking even for couples or families, as this is just a standard private bath without TVs or other 3C appliances
What Jin Tang Hot Spring Resort is most proud of is its unique seabed hot spring water quality, which leaves skin smooth and tender after use—truly a "beauty bath"
After soaking in the hot spring with wet hair, what to do?
Don't worry—the private bath also provides a wall-mounted hair dryer. Although it looks simple, the airflow is strong enough to quickly dry your hair, allowing you to freshen up before leaving
This Jin Tang Hot Spring offers great value comparable to nearby budget hot springs, and in terms of refinement, it stands out slightly. If you simply want to soak and relax, this Jinshan Jin Tang Hot Spring is highly recommended. For a more CHILLHILL vibe, I suggest Vanilla Flower Source Hot Spring. After soaking, you can also visit the nearby Dapeng Foot Bath Park for a free foot bath experience
