Nanyang Curry Grilled Chop Rice｜Signature Popular Main Course

The most anticipated dish this time was the Nanyang Curry Grilled Chop Rice.

Upon serving, the large piece of crispy fried vegetarian chop is quite eye-catching.

The entire meal features Southeast Asian-style curry sauce as the star, made with various Southeast Asian spices for a distinct aroma and rich curry flavor upon tasting.

The curry is topped with shredded cheese, adding a creamy and stringy texture.

The standout element is this large crispy fried vegetarian chop.

The exterior is fried to a crisp, with a satisfying crunch audible upon biting, paired with the rich curry for layered flavors.

Abundant Sides in One Main Course

The white rice is accompanied by various sides including tomatoes, fried green beans, vegetarian chicken cubes, and two pieces of ingredients with a bean curd skin-like texture.

The curry sauce coats the rice and sides, ensuring the meal isn't one-dimensional in flavor.

For curry lovers, this is a distinctly Southeast Asian vegetarian main course.

Set Meal Includes Four Side Dishes and Hot Soup

The Nanyang Curry Grilled Chop Rice set comes with four flavored side dishes and a bowl of hot soup.

Today's sides included refreshing cold salad, king oyster mushrooms with edamame, stir-fried greens, and well-marinated dried tofu.

The dried tofu was particularly flavorful, with sauce fully absorbed, offering a juicy bite.

The king oyster mushrooms and edamame provide a refreshing contrast to balance the rich curry flavors.

The full set, from main to sides, feels quite complete.

Herbal Burdock Soup｜Mildly Sweet Soup

The hot soup in today's set was Herbal Burdock Soup.

The broth is mild in taste with a subtle sweetness.

It includes sliced burdock with a tender texture; after chewing, a natural slight bitterness lingers.

Paired with richer curry or Southeast Asian dishes, this refreshing soup offers a nice palate cleanser.

Lemongrass Green Tea｜Set Meal Beverage

The set beverage chosen was Lemongrass Green Tea.

The drink is generously portioned, refreshing with a light lemongrass aroma.

Ideal for cutting through richer dishes like curry or fried items.

Bubur Cha Cha｜Classic Southeast Asian Dessert

The set dessert was the Southeast Asian classic "Bubur Cha Cha."

The bowl includes taro chunks, sweet potato cubes, sago, coconut milk, plus two natural jellies in different colors.

The green jelly is made from pandan, the red from beetroot.

Combined ingredients make the texture quite varied.

Coconut milk brings the signature Southeast Asian aroma, paired with taro, sweet potato, and chewy sago for multiple textures in one bite.

Those who enjoy Southeast Asian desserts should try this.

Satay Skewers｜Rich Peanut Aroma, Addictively Delicious

Besides the set, we also ordered a side of Satay Skewers.

The skewers feature vegetarian chicken cubes and cucumber, drizzled with Southeast Asian-style satay sauce.

The satay sauce prominently features rich peanut aroma, with savory, sweet, fragrant, and mildly spicy notes.

The vegetarian chicken absorbs the sauce for a flavorful bite; paired with crisp cucumber for added freshness.

Served with passion fruit and papaya slices to balance the bold flavors with sweet-tart notes.
