Every time I bring the kids to Bangkok, the most troublesome thing is accommodation! Because Bangkok quad rooms actually have far fewer options than double rooms. We want enough space to be comfortable, a quiet environment, convenient living facilities, and a limited budget XD. This time, we chose The Cotton Saladaeng Hotel in Bangkok's Sathon district, and the overall stay experience was pretty good!
The Cotton Saladaeng Hotel is located in a quiet alley in Bangkok's Sathon area, away from the noise and traffic of the main roads, adding a rare sense of leisure and tranquility. The building's exterior combines a calm gray texture with warm wood tones, paired with lush greenery, giving a relaxing vacation vibe right upon arrival.
The best part is that although it's in a quiet alley, the living facilities are completely undiminished! From the hotel, it's just a 3 to 5 minute walk to the nearby 7-11 convenience store, super convenient for grabbing snacks, drinks, or Thailand's popular pressed toast at night!
Walking into The Cotton Saladaeng Hotel lobby, you'll immediately be drawn by the strong French retro aesthetic! The space uses arched lines, soft Morandi pink and Morandi blue, paired with delicate rattan sofas, velvet round chairs, and geometric marble floors. Every corner looks like a magazine French café, perfect for photos.
The front desk staff are friendly and polite, with extremely efficient check-in. One side of the lobby also features a spacious lounge and work desk area with bright, abundant lighting. Whether resting briefly during check-in or sitting here to relax and take beautiful photos in the afternoon, you can feel a full sense of comfort and relaxation!
This time we stayed in the hotel's Quadruple Room, with a spacious 40 square meters (about 431 square feet), accommodating up to 4 adults! The room is equipped with 2 king-size beds, with mattresses of moderate firmness that are very comfortable to lie on. After a tiring day of fun, you can fully relax back in the room.
Scenic long table and work area: The room features a full-length warm wood long table with rattan decoration, facing a large scenic window. Convenient universal sockets are provided by the table, perfect for jotting down travel notes, handling work at night, or quietly enjoying the night view outside while having tea.
The room comes with a mini fridge and electric kettle, and the fridge thoughtfully includes ice trays. Next to it, complimentary Thailand classic Chang glass-bottled drinking water is provided, so you can enjoy an icy refreshing drink anytime during the hot Bangkok afternoon.
