There used to be a Fukuoka Ramen shop on Yixin Road, but it closed after I visited just once. Later I learned that the brand group had rebranded it into a Chinese-style chicken soup restaurant, keeping the same thick chicken white broth while changing the rice but not the soup.
Writing food reviews these days often brings mixed feelings—the rate at which shops close is faster than I can write about them. I still have several places I've visited but haven't written up yet, or places that closed right after I posted. However, since the thick chicken soup went viral on Threads, there has been a steady stream of diners, so it should stay open for a long time?
The shop features counter-style single seats with brown curtains, and a semi-open kitchen allows you to watch the cooking process.
The menu features an elegant, palace-style design.
At the grand opening, they offered a buy-one-get-one deal on the Palace Thick Chicken Soup Set, so we ordered it together.

Next to it is the self-service ordering machine.
The set has arrived, including Imperial Thick Chicken Soup, Imperial Three Treasures Platter, and Imperial Golden Rice. The staff also explained how to eat it: pour the rice into the thick chicken soup, add the minced chicken and chicken meatballs, and use the remaining chicken slices for dipping.
There are also a few broccoli florets on top.
My friend said adding garlic to the soup makes it taste even better. I think the thick chicken soup rice porridge is delicious, but the portion is a bit small—you might need to add something else to feel full.
