Butterfly Scales
Your body, nourished by sunlight
Exuding the breath of upward growth
The reflection in the mirror
Is wings like a butterfly's
The lush tree blocks the summer light
Only illuminating a corner of the room
Following his wings that keep fluttering
The falling scales sway in midair
How long does it take for encounter to cool?
Even as strangers passing by
Or people who no longer chat warmly
Or those who lose all contact
I just want you to know
Right now, I like you
The scales on my fingertips are traces of you on me
Suspended dust particles in the backlight
Carrying a fragile sense that disperses with one breath
The thrill you give me cannot be changed
Even if everything will eventually fade
Let us become a smile that occasionally comes to mind
You also want
To hold my hand tightly without letting go while walking through the crowd under everyone's gaze
I also know
There are so many handsome boys outside but you choose to stay with me every night
You can feel
When you talk eloquently about your field of expertise, I listen fascinated
Whenever I speak, your eyes look at me unwaveringly
On the empty winter night streets
Listening to my endless nonsense
Listening seriously and giggling with me
After heartbreak, I can piece myself together again
But my encounter with you is only once
What will happen to us afterwards
At this moment, you only need to know
I like you
I want to write this poem
When I put down the pen, a smile also lifted at the corner of my mouth
