Finding a Home in Melbourne, Why Is It So Hard? V211

Arrived in Melbourne, the first big thing, of course, is to find a home first.🏠

Actually, before departing, we had already looked at many, many houses online and asked AI a bunch of questions.
The answers we got at the time were almost all consistent:

South Yarra, Melbourne's "Sanlitun".

Sounds like it suits our taste, right?
Bustling, convenient, lots of restaurants, lots of coffee shops, and not far from the City.

So at the beginning, I almost focused all my attention on South Yarra.

But when we actually arrived, we discovered...

Well, what AI knows as "suitable" and what you really want to live in as "suitable" seem to be two different things.😂

For us, South Yarra is still a bit too quiet.
Especially at night, there aren't many people on the streets, many shops close early, completely different from the "Melbourne Sanlitun" we imagined.

So, no choice.

Two outsiders who just moved here and don't have a home yet,
had to reopen the rental app, pull the map to the middle—

Forget it, let's go check out the bustling City.

And so our Melbourne house-hunting hell officially began.😮‍💨
