Located in Changhua City's '宮本武丼', featuring direct fire grilled meat donburi, has opened its third branch in Changhua City. This latest '宮本武丼 Changmei Branch' officially opened on February 26, 115, at No. 246, Section 1, Zhangmei Road, Changhua City, giving the local folks in Changhua another great place to enjoy meat!
'宮本武丼 Changmei Branch' operates from 11:00 to 14:00 for lunch and from 16:30 to 21:30 for dinner. The store decor continues the consistent Japanese minimalist style of 宮本武丼, using plenty of wooden tables and chairs to create a warm and comfortable dining environment. Although the space is not spacious, it can accommodate about 20 customers.
The menu at 宮本武丼 Changmei Branch focuses on its signature direct fire grilled meat donburi, where the meat is grilled over direct fire to emit an enchanting charred aroma.
In addition to donburi, the shop also offers four uniquely flavored ramen options: Miyamoto Spicy Ramen, Miyamoto Soy Sauce Ramen, Miyamoto Miso Ramen, and Miyamoto Tonkotsu Ramen, providing rich choices for soup noodle lovers.
The menu also offers set meal upgrades, where you can add side dishes, cola, onsen eggs, or croquettes to make every meal more abundant. Additionally, various single items are available for customers to freely pair according to their preferences. The in-store self-service area provides chicken soup and black tea for customers to refill as they wish, adding warmth and refreshment to the meal.
'Qingxue Baihua Onion Donburi' uses onion salt sauce evenly spread on the rice, paired with pork belly slices marinated in special grilled meat sauce, then seared over direct fire with rich marbling, and finally topped with a generous amount of finely chopped green onions. The crisp sweetness of the onions and the rich oily aroma of the grilled pork belly intertwine in the mouth, creating a refreshing yet layered rich flavor experience that successfully balances the greasiness of the meat.
'Da Wu Tangyang Chicken' has a crispy batter that makes a crunch when bitten, with just the right amount of salty flavor; the inside chicken meat is tender and slightly juicy, making it a great choice to pair with donburi or as an appetizer. Additionally, I ordered a onsen egg to enjoy with the grilled meat donburi, thinking its smooth texture would enhance the overall flavor. However, the onsen egg I had that day was semi-cooked, unfortunately not reaching the expected watery and flowing yolk, which was a bit disappointing. The side dish is the included Korean kimchi, sour and spicy to whet the appetite, pairing perfectly with grilled meat donburi to cut the greasiness and enrich the overall taste.
