Chamonix New Champs Teppanyaki, as a member of the Wang Steak Group, blends unique French cuisine with fashionable dining elements, successfully creating a romantic dining atmosphere, bringing customers a unique Teppanyaki experience.
Chamonix's menu mainly offers three price options: the New Champs Set, Smoked Australian Wagyu Beef Feast, and Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef Banquet, with all prices requiring an additional 10% service charge. Regardless of the set chosen, it includes rich items such as Parmesan cheese bread, hot appetizers, soup, salad, lemon Sorbet, the classic Chamonix Sakura Shrimp Fried Rice, and exquisite desserts and drinks, forming a complete French Teppanyaki feast.
First to appear is the Parmesan cheese bread, baked and sprinkled with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese powder, emitting an enticing salty aroma. The inside of the bread is warm and soft in texture, paired with exclusive garlic caviar, the flavor is even richer, slightly spicy, and the caviar adds a popping fun to the mouth. This bread is delicious enough to whet your appetite; if you have a good appetite, the restaurant is happy to refill it for you.
Next is the hot appetizer - Snail mushrooms and truffle steamed egg. The truffle steamed egg has an extremely smooth texture, with the truffle aroma hitting the nose, adding rich layers. The snail mushrooms are seasoned with a special sauce, paired with crispy decorative chips, offering a unique flavor.
During the meal, the service staff will serve each guest a glass of non-alcoholic champagne in a stemmed glass. This drink has a slightly sweet taste and a refreshing texture, and during the meal, the server will proactively check and refill it for you, greatly enhancing the sense of ceremony in dining.
French onion cheese soup, made with carefully simmered caramelized onions and rich cheese, has a deep sweet and salty layered flavor. The soup bowl comes with a piece of crispy French baguette, allowing diners to enjoy the perfect combination of bread and thick soup at any time.
Smoked salmon cheese salad wraps fresh smoked salmon with rich cheese and garnishes with caviar, offering extremely layered flavors, finally with crisp hydroponic vegetables for a refreshing mouthfeel.
Main course 'Pan-seared Truffle Filet', selected at medium rare. The Teppanyaki chef will first pan-sear a small piece for the customer to taste and confirm if the doneness meets personal preference. The medium rare filet has a soft and juicy texture, whether paired with the chef's special truffle red wine sauce or garlic slices, it imparts excellent flavor to the meat.
If you choose the New Champs Set, in addition to the main course steak, there will be an extra pan-seared salmon.
The companion's chosen main course 'Brandy Duck Breast' showcases the chef's superb skills. The crispy duck breast skin locks in the rich juices, paired with the chef's special cherry sauce, and flambéed with brandy, instantly releasing a rich aroma.
After the main course, it's the last dish of the Teppanyaki - Chamonix Sakura Shrimp Fried Rice. Using Tainan No. 11 white rice, stir-fried on a high-temperature iron plate with golden egg liquid, crispy sakura shrimp, onion dice, and scallions, making the rice grains distinct, finally sprinkled with flavorful fish roe, creating a fresh and richly layered texture. Although the portion is not extremely large, it can also be refilled.
After enjoying the savory dishes, the server will guide customers to move to the general dining area to enjoy desserts and drinks.
This time's dessert choice includes 'Häagen-Dazs Italian Affogato', pouring espresso over vanilla ice cream to create a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness.
Another is 'Pistachio Avalanche Cake', with thick pistachio cream sauce combined with chocolate mousse; when the edge is torn open, the filling flows out like an avalanche, bringing double enjoyment to the eyes and taste; its rich nutty aroma and chocolate's slight bitterness achieve an excellent balance.
Drinks offer four choices: Pistachio Milk Cap Oolong Milk Tea, Iced Taiwan Tea Ruby No. 18, Chamomile Green Treasure Tea, and Yirgacheffe Coffee. I strongly recommend 'Pistachio Milk Cap Oolong Milk Tea', with the thick nutty milk cap perfectly fused with the sweet aftertaste of Oolong latte, the tea aroma is smooth and not greasy, it's a very characteristic and delicious drink.
