✨Today I checked in at a skewer shop with good reviews. Overall, the experience was quite a pleasant surprise, making it a great spot for late-night snacks, dinner, or a casual meal with friends.
✨No fancy decor, just a simple street-side skewer shop vibe. The key is that the flavors are spot-on, the prices are affordable, and the overall experience is great.
✨This time I ordered a bunch of items, each available in salt & pepper or caramel flavors, each with its own unique character and perfectly balanced taste.
✨The chicken wings had a slightly dry texture, lacking some juiciness, creating a clear contrast with the other dishes.
✨All the other skewers at the shop performed well, with no disappointments at all. Every ingredient was fresh, grilled to perfection—never over-charred or bland. The seasoning is mild enough for most people, with balanced saltiness, and nothing feels greasy. Whether meat or vegetable skewers, the texture is solid and full of aroma. One bite after another, it’s hard to stop.
✨What surprised me the most was the free soup provided by the shop—it was incredibly delicious! I tried it with low expectations, but the flavor was far from perfunctory. The broth is light, sweet, and smooth, warming and refreshing after rich flavors. Pairing it with the savory skewers felt just right. Finishing a skewer and taking a sip of soup was super comforting, turning out to be the biggest little surprise of the visit and earning it major extra points.
✨Lastly, a small downside: the shop has no air conditioning. It’s very comfortable in autumn and winter, enjoying skewers with natural breeze, but on hot, stuffy summer days it can feel too warm and uncomfortable. So it’s better to visit when the weather is cooler.
