Walked half an hour only to find it's closed, so had to date the rice fields instead.
Here's how it went—
Today I planned to elegantly visit the popular hidden restaurant in Taichung Nantun, Tianliao Farmstead, imagining myself as a Japanese magazine heroine in a LOLITA dress, sitting in the garden, sipping tea, taking beautiful photos, and pretending I'm great at living life.
Instead, I braved the scorching sun and walked in tiny steps for a full half hour.
Along the way I kept hypnotizing myself:
「Almost there, almost there, it'll definitely be super ethereal.」
「I'll definitely capture an 8,000-like Threads masterpiece.」
「The most romantic Lolita influencer in Yazhu City is me.」
But when I reached the entrance—
Closed.
I stood at the door with my pupils shaking.
Inner BGM: Life is a sea of ups and downs.
But as a professional phone photographer, how could I leave empty-handed?
So I turned and saw a whole stretch of lush green rice fields—
Alright, you're the star today.
When one door closes, at least a field remains.
