The Low-Key Herbal Tea Shop Hidden in a Residential Area--Mumu Shop

🌟Today we came to this shop. Actually, it mainly sells herbal teas, but the three of us had no intention of having afternoon tea at all and came straight here for lunch XDDDD. The shop's location is really low-key. If you don't specifically check the map to find it, it's easy to miss when passing by. The exterior looks a lot like a regular residence, and at first you might even wonder if you've gone to the wrong place.

🌟We each ordered something different: one got the Scallion Garlic Chicken Special, another the Herb Pan-Seared Chicken Breast Rice, and I ordered the Hot Pot Buckwheat Noodles. The set meal comes with sides, and if you want to add a drink, you can purchase a small cup for just 30 NT$. So we also ordered black tea and green tea.

🌟The owner is really thoughtful. While we were taking photos of our food right after it arrived, the owner noticed and pointed out a desk lamp nearby for lighting. I have to say, turning on that light made a huge difference. What started as an ordinary lunch photo suddenly gained a great atmosphere, and the pictures turned out much nicer.

🌟The two rice dishes had similar sides: broccoli, tamagoyaki, baby corn, and apple. The whole plate looked colorful, with both main and sides included. The portion felt like a normal meal, not just a plate full of white rice.

🌟For the hot pot noodles, my first choice was actually chicken noodles, but the owner asked if I was very hungry and suggested buckwheat noodles if I wanted to feel fuller. Of course, I switched right away haha. The toppings included one shrimp, one scallop, egg, cabbage, and some seaweed flakes. The broth was on the lighter side, not too salty, so it felt easy to eat without any heaviness.

🌟We chose black tea and green tea for drinks. Both went down smoothly and were perfect to pair with lunch.
