The space design of Stanley’s American Steak Fuxing Branch continues the bold style of American restaurants and features large screens for watching sports events.
Combined with a modern industrial style, large glass windows allow natural light to flood in, making the overall space bright and comfortable.
Wooden tables and chairs with leather sofas create a warm texture. The walls are adorned with classic American steakhouse decorations, making it a top choice in the East District for couples’ dates, friend gatherings, or family reunions.
The seating is spacious, easily accommodating small tables for 2 or long tables for 6–8 people. I asked, and even accommodating 60 people at once is no problem.
The store also has some plants as decoration. This design reminds me of GUMGUM Restaurant & Bar in Neihu.
Dining at this Stanley Steakhouse in the East District offers many choices, such as steak series, pork ribs/chicken steak/salmon main courses, burgers/sandwiches, fried items and appetizers, etc.
Except for the steak series which are priced higher, other dishes are roughly between 300–400. I thought it would be expensive,
but seeing the dining environment and the quality of the dishes provided, I believe this place offers great value.
Even without adding a set meal, a single steak set is enough to fill you up.
As long as you choose a set meal, you can select two side dishes from the following options. If you want to indulge, you can also add half a charcoal-grilled lobster for an extra charge.
Alternatively, you can upgrade to a set meal (choose a steak or burger) and select from two price options for your preferred add-on set.
Stanley Steakhouse uses U.S. CHOICE grade chilled natural beef, processed through five steps: “select, trim, sous vide, sear, grill.”
Selecting the best cuts, manually removing sinew and fat, vacuum low-temperature sous vide, searing to lock in juices, and high-heat charcoal grilling.
This process achieves the ultimate state of crispy exterior and tender interior with juicy meat—truly no exaggeration.
The key is the enticing charred aroma combined with the impressive thickness, making me wonder for a moment if I had ordered the wrong dish.
The nearly 3.2 cm thick snowflake beef steak looks incredibly impressive when served. Hard to believe it’s only 490 NTD—such satisfying thickness!
Stanley’s recommends starting from medium-rare. If it feels too rare, you can always ask the server to take it back to the kitchen for more heating.
The exterior is lightly crispy and aromatic, while the inside is fresh and juicy. Juices slowly seep out with each slice of the knife, conquering you visually alone.
It is said that the sous vide step before grilling locks in the steak’s tenderness and juices,
while the high-heat charcoal grilling adds a lightly crispy charred layer to the exterior. Each bite releases the aroma of charcoal grilling, followed by the beef’s natural sweetness and rich marbling.
The juices burst in the mouth during chewing, tender yet with a slight chew—never dry despite the thickness.
Another highlight is their red wine sauce—truly excellent seasoning.
Stanley’s red wine sauce has a subtle sweet-tart fruitiness that perfectly complements the beef fat.
A touch of the red wine sauce instantly elevates the steak’s flavor layers. The tangy aroma cuts through the richness without overpowering, making you want bite after bite.
At Stanley’s American Steak restaurant, this is an extremely popular signature fried item, praised by many foodies as the “best in the entire restaurant” must-order.
This fried chicken is known for its crispy exterior and juicy interior. When served, the aroma is irresistible, making you want to dig in just from the smell.
Each bite delivers tender chicken and abundant juices, paired with rich flavor and rare spices that add complexity—once you start, you can’t stop.
The only downside is that it feels quite salty afterward. Perhaps the saltiness is meant to highlight the chicken’s freshness and sweetness,
but it’s a shame that even drinking lots of water doesn’t fully wash it away.
When looking for a steakhouse in Taipei’s East District, this is the one! The steak is thick enough to satisfy and tender enough to amaze. The charcoal aroma and red wine sauce weave a luxurious symphony for the taste buds.
The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, with every bite embodying the bold spirit of American cuisine. Stanley’s is not just a steakhouse—it’s the starting point for every wonderful gathering.
