The first store is an old house, but the second store has a spacious British industrial style, a fashionable and photogenic space that instantly becomes a must-visit Taipei influencer cafe in netizens' minds!

The decor at Sweet and sour kitchen Sweet and Sour Second Store is very modern. Through irregular line variations and a skylight-like staircase design, the entire space feels tall and spacious, with each level having its own hidden corners.
The paint and tile color scheme matches the brand identity while adding warmth, especially the layered hand-painted effect that gives the cafe a human touch.
The bright space paired with wood, iron gray, and blue-green tones makes this space feel like an art gallery.
Every seat has a power outlet, so using a laptop or charging phones is no problem.
Whether semi-private or fully open seating, everything has a strong design sense.
We especially love this vinyl record player space—it has an artistic and musical vibe.
We simply ordered two drinks and spent a pleasant afternoon.
The fruit and vegetable juice at Sweet and Sour Second Store combines beetroot with apple, pineapple, guava, etc.
Sweet and sour just like the store name~ though the portion is a bit small for 200 NTD.
The marshmallow cocoa oolong at Sweet and Sour is adorable~
Thick rings of marshmallow surround the rim—you can scoop them up with a spoon!
The marshmallows have a toasted aroma that pairs wonderfully with the cocoa.
A bit sweet, but still good~ just the portion is a little small.
Overall the decor is impressive, but the two drinks we tried were average, and the prices are a bit high. Maybe the items we ordered weren’t the best ones; next time we come with friends for a meal at Sweet and Sour Second Store we’ll try other dishes. However, we highly recommend just sitting inside—the environment is truly excellent, elegant and spacious, with outlets and WiFi, making it comfortable for studying too.
That day we encountered a group of kids, about eight or nine of them, treating their floor like a private event—extremely noisy. Because of the skylight-like design, their voices carried through every level; it was deafening! Also, the restrooms are unisex. When those kids were doing makeup and taking photos in the restroom, the men’s side was basically unusable, which was a bit inconvenient~ Everything else was fine though; it’s not a restaurant we’d revisit without a specific reservation.
