For our summer family trip to Kenting, we stayed at 「福容徠旅墾丁」 on Kenting Street. Stepping out of the hotel puts you right in the lively Kenting Street, super convenient for buying snacks and shopping. Walking a few minutes behind the hotel also leads directly to the beach to play in the waves and enjoy the sea views, perfectly covering the needs of "water fun, accommodation, and shopping."
When traveling with kids, location convenience is very important. You can return to the room to rest anytime after a tiring day of play, then head out again in the evening for a stroll and food, without rushing the schedule. The trip becomes much more relaxed, allowing for a more leisurely vacation.

For first-time visitors to Kenting or families traveling with children, this location saves considerable travel time.
Most accommodations on Kenting Street do not provide parking. 「福容徠旅墾丁」 offers free underground parking. However, spaces are first-come, first-served with no reservations, so arriving early is recommended to secure a spot.

Self-driving: Take National Freeway 1 south to Kaohsiung, connect to Provincial Highway 88, then transfer to National Freeway 3 at Nanzhou Interchange, and follow the Ping'e Highway toward Kenting.
Public transport: Take the high-speed rail to "Zuoying Station" or train to "Kaohsiung Main Station," then at Exit 2 of Zuoying HSR Station, transfer to "Kenting Express 9189" or "Kenting Train 9188," alight at Kenting Archway Station, and walk about 3 minutes to the hotel.
Airport transfer: Take bus 9117 from Kaohsiung Xiaogang Airport directly to the hotel.
Upon entering the hotel, you feel a relaxed and lively vacation vibe. Unlike traditional hotels that feel more formal, 「福容徠旅墾丁」 gives the first impression of arriving at a vacation cottage.
The colorful and bright interior, combined with the atrium design bringing in natural light, creates a relaxing holiday feel.
In addition to accommodations, the hotel's B1 features the "Spotlight・Shared Space" with spacious sofas, long tables, refrigerators, microwaves, and free coffee, tea, and snacks available for self-service.
There are also fitness equipment and self-service laundry and drying facilities essential for multi-day trips. Since the point of visiting Kenting is to play in the water, being able to wash and dry clothes back at the hotel is very convenient.
The hotel also offers bicycle rental! Guests can ride for free for 2 hours; beyond that, it's NT$2 per minute.
Riding a bicycle in the afternoon or at dusk to enjoy the sea breeze and explore around Kenting Street is also a great activity!
We stayed in the Group Travel Quad Room, suitable for families and friends. The room features a lively and bright color scheme, with two medium beds in an 8-ping space, plus sofa chairs, a coffee table, and a business desk. The space is comfortable for two adults and two children.
The room also includes a wet bar area with a sink, hot and cold water kettles, cups, a mini-fridge, coffee and tea packets, and snacks.
In line with eco-friendly practices, no bottled mineral water is provided! Use your own bottle or fill up from the water dispenser using the in-room kettle.
The toilet and shower are separate spaces with a sliding door in between for free access. After showering, the toilet area stays dry, making it more comfortable to use!
Breakfast is served in the Leju Space on the 1F. The self-service area offers fresh salads, fruits, hot dishes, bread, congee, coffee, and drinks—limited variety but both Chinese and Western options available!
Breakfast isn't just self-service; each guest also receives a freshly made "GC French Bakery Collaboration Croissant Burger."
Options include Fresh Vegetable Cheese Egg, Smoked Beef Cheese, Tuna Fresh Vegetable, and Assorted Beef Cheese—four choices in total. The flaky, multi-layered croissant wraps delicious fillings, leaving you fully satisfied after one!
Kenting has unique charms and activities year-round! In spring and summer, embrace the sunny beaches, play in the water, ride the waves, and try water sports. In autumn and winter, explore mountain trails, discover ecology, or soak in the warm hot springs at Sichong River, and visit the historic Hengchun Old Town for local delicacies.
Staying at 「福容徠旅墾丁」 makes planning effortless, with easy access via public transport or anywhere nearby.
Recommended Kenting attractions: Lujing Plum Blossom Deer Ecological Park, Axin Chocolate Farm, Wanlitong, National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, Longpan Park, Xingsha Bay, Hengchun Old Town, Sichong River Hot Springs.

Our stay at 「福容徠旅墾丁」 was overall excellent! From the prime location and convenient public transport to the vibrant and bright Group Travel Quad Room and thoughtful shared spaces, every detail reflects the hotel's care and friendliness.
