The New Taipei North Coast has always been the top choice for residents of Taipei and New Taipei to relax on weekdays and holidays. Whether you want to enjoy the sea breeze by the coast, savor fresh seafood, or try duck meat at Jinshan Old Street, coming here always fulfills expectations for a relaxing trip
When it comes to the features of the Jinshan North Coast, you absolutely cannot miss the hot springs!!! This time we recommend Jin Tang Hot Spring in Jinshan. Soaking for one hour costs only $500, which means less than $300 per person! The highlight is the free parking spaces right at the entrance. After soaking, you can also visit the nearby Wang Wang Sweet Potato Garden for roasted sweet potatoes, and for dinner, head to Jinshan Old Street for duck meat
金湯溫泉會館 (Jin Spa Resort Hotel)
2. Address: No. 197-5, Jiatou Road, Wanli District, New Taipei City
3. Phone: 02-2498-8788
4. Business Hours: Open 24 hours
Driving along Provincial Highway 2 from the North Coast, you can see the elegant and eye-catching exterior of “金湯溫泉會館” from afar
Although not luxurious, the brick-red walls and wooden entrance design look especially cozy against the surrounding scenery. It is only about a five-minute drive from the lively Jinshan Old Street, so even if you stay overnight here, there are places to explore in the evening
Upon entering the resort, the first thing you see is a clean and bright reception lobby. Right next to the lobby are the affordable private hot spring rooms, and even though they are close to the front desk, you won’t be disturbed
Jin Tang Hot Spring features a calm gray tone paired with warm lighting, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The most eye-catching element is the pure white European-style wooden horse sculpture in the center of the lobby, which cleverly adds a touch of fantasy and playfulness to the space
The design of the private rooms at 金湯溫泉會館 appears to have taken into account both comfort and practicality for soaking. They particularly use a dry-wet separation partition design. Although not fully separated, it is much better than the affordable rooms on Yangmingshan
Upon entering, you first see a small resting area with a small sofa chair placed next to the partition of the soaking pool, effectively preventing clothes and personal items from getting wet
.
The space inside the private room is spacious and comfortable, without the cramped feeling typical of affordable rooms on Yangmingshan. It’s hard to believe such a large space costs less than $300 per person—great value!
The depth and width of the bath are just right, so even couples or families can easily enjoy soaking together, as this is just a standard private room without TVs or other 3C appliances
What 金湯溫泉會館 is most proud of is its unique seabed hot spring water quality. After bathing, your skin feels smooth and tender—it truly lives up to the name “Beauty Spring”
After soaking in the hot spring and your hair is wet, what to do?
Don’t worry—the room also thoughtfully provides a wall-mounted hair dryer. Although it looks simple, it has enough power to quickly dry your hair so you can freshen up before leaving
This Jin Tang Hot Spring offers great value comparable to nearby affordable hot springs, but in terms of refinement, it stands out slightly. If you simply want to soak and relax, this Jinshan Jin Tang Hot Spring is highly recommended. If you prefer a more CHILLHILL vibe, I would suggest Vanilla Flower Source Hot Spring. After soaking, you can also visit the nearby Dapeng Foot Bath Park for a free foot-soaking experience
