For our summer Kaohsiung mini trip, we stayed at "Fullon Le Hotel Kaohsiung". Not only was the transportation convenient, but the room design and accommodation atmosphere left a deep impression on us. Especially when the kids opened the door and saw the ceiling full of shark plush toys, they immediately shouted excitedly, "This room is so cute!"
For families traveling with children, in addition to convenient location, room size and comfort are also very important. The Shark Shark Room at Fullon Le Hotel Kaohsiung not only offers spacious space but also features a living room lounge area, a small bar counter, and IKEA-themed design, making it feel more like home than a regular hotel.
Fullon Le Hotel Kaohsiung is located in Qianjin District. From Exit 4 of Kaohsiung MRT Qianjin Station, you can easily reach the hotel in about 3 minutes! If taking the high-speed rail to Zuoying Station or coming from Kaohsiung International Airport, it takes only about 20 minutes by car. For those driving, the hotel also provides underground parking.
In addition to convenient transportation, the surrounding amenities are excellent, with many restaurants nearby. If you want to visit a night market in the evening, you can walk to the Liuhe Tourist Night Market for food. For cultural or scenic spots like Love River, True Love Pier, Pier-2 Art Center, Dagang Bridge, Sizihwan, Cijin, and the recently popular Totoro Tunnel (Neiwei Art Center), Fongshan Fongyi Academy, Huangpu New Village, and the romantic gondola experience, all are within a short drive.

The check-in process was very quick, and the staff were friendly. After completing check-in, there are displays of quality selected items and local specialty products next to the lobby, which you can browse if interested.

The hotel also thoughtfully provides luggage storage service. Check-in is available from 4 PM, so if you arrive early, you can store your luggage and go out, making your itinerary much more relaxed!
After check-in, we went directly to the 16th floor for welcome refreshments. The hotel offers free welcome snacks and tea from 1 PM to 10 PM.
After driving or playing all day and arriving at the hotel, sitting down for tea and snacks before resting in the room feels especially pleasant.
Our Shark Shark Room is on the 15th floor. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator, a whole row of uniformed sharks appeared, sitting on a bench warmly welcoming us! Paired with bright yellow walls and lush greenery, it's visually striking and perfect for photos.
Fullon Le Hotel Kaohsiung has a total of 172 minimalist rooms, mainly divided into standard rooms and popular IKEA-themed rooms, catering to families, friends, couples, or business travelers.
Upon entering the Shark Shark Room, everyone exclaimed in surprise! The ceiling is covered with 3D shark and marine life plush toys, and the living room sofa area has a large octopus pillow, making it feel like entering an underwater world—full of childlike fun!
The room is spacious and comfortable, equipped with two medium beds. The mattresses and pillows provide excellent support and are very comfortable to sleep on.
The room also has a large sofa, coffee table, and business desk. Whether gathering on the sofa for late-night snacks and chats or needing to open a laptop for work, there's suitable space, giving a warm and cozy "home" feeling.
The room also features a home-like kitchenette space with a sink, hot and cold water kettle, cups, refrigerator, tea bags, welcome snacks, and drinks. I really like the kitchenette design—it's especially convenient to use.
In response to environmental protection and plastic reduction, the room does not provide disposable bottled mineral water! However, each floor has water dispensers in public areas, so you can use your own bottle or the kettle in the room to get water.
The room has large glass windows with excellent natural light! Pulling back the curtains reveals a panoramic view of Kaohsiung's cityscape, with the 85 Sky Tower visible in the distance.
The bathroom features a wet-dry separation design, overall clean and comfortable. The gray marble-patterned tiles paired with textured wooden countertops look premium and inviting.
It uses a bidet toilet, with a hairdryer and storage space under the counter. The shower provides ample hot water and strong water flow.
The gym and self-service laundry room are located on the 16th floor, open from 07:00–22:00.
The gym is spacious and bright with good natural light, equipped with treadmills, rowing machines, and other fitness equipment. It's no problem to maintain your exercise routine while traveling.
The self-service laundry room is really important for longer trips. Especially in summer in Kaohsiung, sweating while sightseeing can be surprising, so having laundry facilities makes things much more convenient.
The next morning's breakfast was enjoyed on the 16th floor restaurant. The restaurant has large floor-to-ceiling windows with excellent natural light, allowing you to enjoy the sunshine, overlook Kaohsiung's cityscape, and leisurely enjoy delicious food.
The buffet breakfast includes fresh vegetable salads, seasonal fruits, hot dishes, bread, congee, fried items, coffee, and drinks—both Chinese and Western styles—providing a rich nutritional combination to energize you for the whole day!
In addition to the abundant buffet items you can freely choose, each guest also receives a freshly made GC French Bakery collab croissant!
There are four options: Fresh Vegetable Cheese Egg, Smoked Beef Cheese, Tuna Fresh Vegetable, and Deluxe Beef Cheese. The crispy croissant paired with delicious fillings is super satisfying after eating.
This stay at Fullon Le Hotel Kaohsiung was truly enjoyable—convenient transportation, many nearby food options, easy access to major Kaohsiung attractions, and the Shark Shark Room is loved not only by kids but also offers adults a spacious and comfortable stay.
