New Taipei's North Coast has always been the top choice for residents of Taipei and New Taipei to relax on weekdays and holidays. Whether you want to enjoy the sea breeze near the coast, savor fresh seafood, or visit Jinshan Old Street for duck meat, this area always meets expectations for a relaxing trip
When it comes to the features of Jinshan North Coast, you absolutely cannot miss the hot springs!!! This time we recommend Jin Tang Hot Spring in Jinshan, where soaking for one hour costs only $500, equivalent to under $300 per person! The highlight is the free parking spaces at the entrance, and after soaking you can visit the nearby Wang Wang Sweet Potato Garden for roasted sweet potatoes, and for dinner head to Jinshan Old Street for duck meat
金湯溫泉會館 (Jin Spa Resort Hotel)
2. Address: 新北市萬里區加投路197之5號
3. Phone: 02-2498-8788
4. Business Hours: Open 24 hours
Driving along the North Coast on Provincial Highway 2, you can see the elegant and eye-catching exterior of "金湯溫泉會館" from afar
Although not luxurious, the brick-red walls and wooden entrance design stand out warmly against the surroundings. It is only about a five-minute drive from the lively Jinshan Old Street, so even staying overnight here offers places to explore in the evening
Upon entering the resort, the first thing you see is the clean and bright reception lobby. Next to the lobby are the affordable private baths, which remain private despite being close to the counter
Jin Tang Hot Spring features a calm gray palette paired with warm lighting, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The most eye-catching feature is the pure white European-style wooden horse sculpture in the center of the lobby, adding a touch of fantasy and playfulness to the space
The private bath design at 金湯溫泉會館 appears to consider both comfort and practicality for soaking, featuring a partial wet-dry separation partition that is much better than the budget baths on Yangmingshan
Upon entering, you first see a small resting area with a small sofa chair positioned beside the partition to the soaking pool, effectively preventing clothes and personal items from getting wet
.
The space inside the private bath is spacious and comfortable, with none of the cramped feeling typical of budget baths on Yangmingshan. It's impressive that such a large space costs under $300 per person, offering great value
The depth and width of the bath are just right, making it easy to enjoy soaking whether as a couple or with family, as this is just a standard private bath without TVs or other electronics
What 金湯溫泉會館 prides itself on most is its unique seabed hot spring water quality, leaving skin smooth and tender—truly a "beauty bath"
After soaking in the hot spring with wet hair, what to do?
Don't worry—the private bath thoughtfully provides a wall-mounted hair dryer. Though simple in appearance, it has sufficient airflow to quickly dry your hair, allowing you to freshen up before leaving
This 金湯溫泉 offers value comparable to nearby budget hot springs, but stands out slightly in refinement. If you simply want to soak and relax, this Jinshan 金湯溫泉 is highly recommended. For a more chill vibe, I suggest 香草花源溫泉. After soaking, you can also visit the nearby Dapeng Foot Bath Park for a free foot-soaking experience
