In Taipei, a city full of delicious food, the choices for Italian restaurants are truly dazzling.
However, when it comes to authentic flavors and a complete dining experience, one really has to recommend this "Cin Cin Osteria Cin Cin Italian Restaurant" located in Songshan District. It is definitely a must-add to your secret list!
The must-try wood-fired pizzas and delicious pasta dishes have truly conquered my stomach. It's a restaurant I've visited many times. Whenever I'm near Nanjing Fuxing Station after getting off work and craving Italian food, I think of it. I just can't help it—I really love it.
Store Name: Cin Cin Osteria Cin Cin Italian Restaurant (Qingcheng Branch)
Address: 1F, No. 16, Lane 16, Qingcheng Street, Zhongzheng Li, Songshan District, Taipei City 105
Phone: 0227122050
Cin Cin Italian Restaurant Qingcheng Branch is located right next to the famous Qingcheng Hainanese Chicken Rice, about a 5-minute walk from MRT Nanjing Fuxing Station. The Qingcheng store features large glass windows that let the warm indoor lighting and customer interactions naturally flow outward, attracting the attention of passersby. Occasionally, the mouthwatering aroma of wood-fired PIZZA wafts out—it's fantastic!
Upon entering Cin Cin Italian Restaurant, you'll notice several certificates prominently displayed on the wall. The most eye-catching is the certification from the "Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani" (Neapolitan Pizza Makers Association). This certificate is not just decoration—it represents Cin Cin's highest commitment to authentic Neapolitan pizza craftsmanship. Cin Cin Osteria chooses to use the internationally renowned "CAPUTO" specialty flour, a key element in making authentic Neapolitan pizza!
For a restaurant, obtaining this kind of international certification means they fully adhere to the ancient traditions and techniques of Naples, Italy, ensuring every pizza delivers the most original and classic flavors.
The restaurant's interior is spacious with thoughtfully arranged tables, providing enough private space while maintaining an overall lively dining atmosphere. The wooden tables and chairs complement the large brick walls and red brick arches, creating a harmonious and unified visual feel.
The exposed ceiling pipes add a touch of modern industrial style, forming an interesting contrast with the classical brick walls. The interior decor is truly striking.
The Cin Cin Italian Restaurant menu is designed around classic Italian dishes, incorporating the chef's creativity and dedication to fresh ingredients. From appetizers, pizzas, and pastas to main courses, every dish aims to showcase the diversity and essence of Italian cuisine.
There are really quite a lot of menu items—so many that I still haven't tried them all. I especially love their pastas. Although the prices are on the higher side, the ingredients are top quality and the portions are just right.
Before the main courses, the restaurant thoughtfully serves a basket of steaming hot bread. The bread has a crispy crust, a soft interior, and a natural wheat aroma, paired with a small dish of olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar.
Dipping the bread in the olive oil and vinegar makes it moist, blending the fruity notes of the olive oil with the slight acidity of the balsamic vinegar, creating a fresh and appetizing flavor in the mouth. This is one of the most classic ways to experience the essence of Italian dining.
When the pizza arrives, the first thing that catches your eye is its golden, crispy crust. The slightly charred leopard-spotted edges are the hallmark of traditional wood-fired pizza!!
The pizza emits an enticing charcoal-grilled aroma and looks wonderfully crispy. The toppings are rich and colorful: red tomato chunks, white mozzarella cheese, light pink prosciutto slices, brown sausage pieces, and accents of purple onion strips and herbs, forming a vibrant picture that makes you want to grab a slice right away.
Unable to resist, I picked up a slice and took a big bite—truly surprising!
First comes the floury aroma of the thin, crispy crust, with a satisfying chew that gets more fragrant with each bite. The charcoal aroma soon spreads in the mouth. Then comes the sweet-tangy tomato sauce paired with the rich creaminess of mozzarella, the salty savoriness of prosciutto, and the hearty texture of the sausage. The slight sharpness of the purple onion and the fragrance of the herbs add layers to the overall flavor.
A whole golden, crispy duck leg confit is boldly placed on wide flat pasta soaked in sauce. The restaurant tops the duck leg with shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese—the aroma is incredible!
The duck leg's skin, after slow low-temperature cooking and pan-searing, has an inviting golden hue and looks extremely crispy.
Although the skin looks a bit dry from frying, the meat is so tender it falls right off the bone at the slightest touch—how magical is that? The crispy duck skin provides a rich, fatty aroma that pairs perfectly with the wide pasta, which absorbs the sauce beautifully. Every strand is coated in the savory duck fat and tomato-based sauce, blended with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and other ingredients for a sweet freshness that combines perfectly with the salty richness of the duck leg confit, creating a rich yet not heavy flavor. Oh my goodness, I love this kind of layered, complex dish!
Cin Cin Italian Restaurant doesn't just serve delicious Italian-style dishes—it also provides a complete dining experience. From the meticulous interior design to the dedication to ingredients and cooking, you can feel the restaurant's thoughtfulness and passion.
Although the prices are above average, considering the high-quality ingredients, masterful cooking techniques, and generous portions, it's still a highly recommended Italian restaurant. Whether for a romantic date, gathering with friends, or family celebration, it offers a satisfying and memorable choice. I've visited more than five times already—every time it's so delicious, I just can't get enough!
