The newly opened Taoyuan Zhongli hot pot Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Store has its own parking lot and is just a 4-minute scooter ride from Zhongli Xinming Tourist Night Market. It's a popular hot pot restaurant from central Taiwan.
It features over 50 kinds of vegetables all-you-can-eat plus nourishing hot pots. The wine chicken hot pot is especially popular—the broth is sweet and rich, and they use flames to burn off the alcohol, leaving a sweet flavor that pairs perfectly with sesame oil Matsusaka pork and sesame oil fried eggs. It's truly delicious! They also have Dayuanzi shaved ice, making it one of the recommended restaurants in Taoyuan for gatherings and social dining!
Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Huanxi Store
The open space behind Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Huanxi Store is the restaurant's parking lot.
The parking lot is spacious, and many people drive with family to dine here. Plus, Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Huanxi Store stays open late, so it's also great for late-night snacks—super convenient by car!
The interior of Bashi Shiguo is very spacious, and the decor is really nice with plenty of room.
There are small green plant decorations everywhere that feel very comfortable.
The distance between seats is generous, and the partitions are super high.
The privacy while eating feels complete and really comfortable.
Even the open seating without partitions is spacious.
The minimalist space feels relaxing.
Our seats this time had a slight semi-private booth feel.
The privacy was excellent! Really loved it.
The prices at Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Store aren't much different from regular hot pot places, but the unlimited vegetables are a huge plus!
Just order one main hot pot and you get unlimited vegetable bar access.
Ordering is easy in just three steps.
We chose the Warm Heart Pepper Pork Tripe Chicken Pot and Wine Chicken Pot.
The wine chicken is a must-try—delicious and great for photos.
Both come with the pot base, so you'll be fully satisfied.
Next, pick your meat.
We went with Matsusaka pork and wagyu brisket.
If you only want the pot base and unlimited vegetables, you can skip the meat option.
There are many side options, and the self-service bar has some too.
We picked sesame oil dry noodles and udon.
Sesame oil noodles with wine chicken is the perfect match—you can't skip it!
There are also add-on sections on the right—everything is cheap.
Many hot pot places have vegetable bars, but Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Store has an astonishing variety.
This is on par with high-end vegetable places!
The vegetables are fresh and clean.
Even the way they're displayed shows how much care the store puts in.
This is probably the neatest and cleanest vegetable bar I've seen!
You can take more if the main dish isn't enough.
The mushroom selection far exceeds many affordable all-you-can-eat hot pots.
Everything is neatly arranged and clearly fresh.
Every vegetable looks crisp and vibrant.
This is rare—Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Store actually collaborates with Dayuanzi.
The mango shaved ice is sweet and refreshing, perfect with rich hot pot flavors.
Other drink options are plentiful too.
Sweetened or unsweetened, with or without caffeine—no problem.
There are many sauce choices.
The special spicy sauce and apple fermented tofu sauce are highly recommended.
You can mix in onions for extra flavor.
Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Store offers two ice cream flavors.
Japanese brand Niseko and Thai Mingguo— the self-service bar alone is overwhelming.
And we haven't even started the main meal yet!
After going around the self-service bar, our hands were full and our feet were sore.
This is so abundant—super happy taking plate after plate!
Vegetable plates and hot pot ingredients are very plentiful.
Even taking just a little, two or three stacks look impressive.
The vibrant green vegetables look so inviting.
There are also many whole foods—if you bring elders or kids, they'll enjoy it too.
After getting our food, the main dishes arrived!
The table is full—doesn't it look abundant?
All at regular hot pot prices! Super worth it for all-you-can-eat.
When the wine chicken pot arrived, the staff told us not to add ingredients yet.
Once it boils, they'll flame it to burn off the alcohol and enhance the aroma.
Then you can start eating.
When the staff lights it up,
The real hot pot appears—this blazing flame is spectacular!
Everyone grabbed their phones to take photos—it was like a fire dance performance.
After burning, the wine aroma is wonderful! It doesn't taste spicy or alcoholic, just sweet and delicious.
The pepper pork tripe chicken at Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Store is one of the few I've truly praised.
The pepper spiciness isn't harsh—instead, the pepper aroma intensifies as it cooks.
Combined with the pork bone and tripe broth, it develops a rich flavor. Before I knew it, I felt like I was eating ramen—really impressive.
It includes pork tripe and chicken, both well-flavored and tender.
If they have yuzu pepper in-store, dipping it might turn it into Japanese cuisine!
Their beef is in large, beautiful slices—the marbling makes your mouth water.
The fat content is just right.
Really comfortable! Love it.
Each slice is large.
The thickness is perfect—swish for a few seconds and it's ready.
It pairs perfectly with both the wine chicken pot and pepper pork tripe pot.
The fat makes the beef soft and juicy—highly recommend this beef!
Dong was quite obsessed with their spicy sauce and fermented tofu sauce.
Eating with them makes it even more flavorful!
Dong knows Matsusaka pork is delicious,
but Bashi Shiguo's Matsusaka pork is insanely good! What kind of Matsusaka pork is this?
Because I ordered wine chicken, they stir-fried it with sesame oil—too fragrant!
Just add to the pot to heat.
Infused with the wine chicken aroma and stir-fried with sesame oil—double the fragrance.
The signature bouncy texture of Matsusaka pork is incredibly satisfying—pure bliss!
So fragrant! Truly so fragrant!
They even added ginger slices to the noodles—amazing! Fans of sesame oil chicken and wine chicken can't resist this.
This is the perfect harmony with sesame oil chicken and wine chicken—Mariah Carey of Christmas! No one can resist this delicacy.
This udon pairs better with kimchi pot or kombu pot.
The texture is also excellent!
Hot pot places rarely have this!
Anyone who knows good food at Bashi Shiguo should order sesame oil fried egg with sesame oil noodles and wine chicken pot.
This divine combo won't disappoint! The fried egg absorbs all the aroma and bursts in your mouth—pure satisfaction!
You can also make it half-cooked!
The egg yolk bursting in your mouth is incredibly fragrant!
Some à la carte items are also recommended.
This spicy braised intestines is great—fatty, tender, and not too salty.
The braised aroma is prominent and very comforting.
Small portion but satisfying—you can boil it if you like.
Bashi Shiguo's clams are thoroughly purged of sand! These fresh, juicy clams are fantastic.
Don't forget if you love seafood.
I loved both pots at Bashi Shiguo this time—nourishing plus unlimited vegetables, perfect for cold winter! The wine chicken pot is outstanding, the flaming alcohol burn is great for photos, and the whole table feels warm and cozy. Highly recommend Bashi Shiguo Zhongli Store for gatherings in Taoyuan!
