🌟Today we visited 享柴. Previously saw their old menu with hot pot series, originally came for the hot pot, but found the menu had changed on site. Now mainly only curry and donburi left, with a minimum spend of 200 yuan for dine-in.🌟The biggest highlight of the store is of course the dogs. Currently there are three: Bobby, Poca, and Boba, plus a less-seen hidden one, Boniu (the intro above says they plan to raise her in the future). Having all their names lined up is really quite cute.
🌟Accompanying everyone today was Bobby, though he looked even more tired than me. He spent most of the time sleeping, with not much time truly awake.
🌟This time we ordered the Premium Five-Spice Pork Set Meal. The set was quite complete, including an egg dish (scrambled eggs that day), a side of asparagus salad, and today's dessert. For the drink I chose charcoal-roasted oolong.
🌟The five-spice pork donburi really came with a generous amount of meat. Basically every bite of rice could be paired with meat, and the sauce was poured on plentifully. The whole bowl had plenty of flavor. Those who like extra sauce should find it satisfying, and you won't have to worry about ending up with just plain rice toward the end. This part feels very sincere.
🌟The asparagus salad had a noticeable stem and fibrous texture, making it a bit coarse to eat. If it were a bit more tender, I would have liked it more.
🌟The fruit came in quite a variety: dragon fruit, mango, grapes, orange, and apple. The orange was a bit sour, and eating it really woke you up instantly.
🌟The dessert pudding was fairly average, not the super smooth and tender type.
🌟The store has plenty of seating, the lighting is bright overall, and the decor clearly took a lot of thought. There are dog-related little items everywhere, and you can tell the owner really loves dogs. Even though Bobby spent most of the time sleeping that day, just seeing him resting nearby added a touch of healing to the whole dining experience.
