When it comes to Hualien Ruishui, the first thing people often think of is the classic Ruishui Ranch. However, on this Hualien trip, we decided to explore somewhere different and visited "Jizheng Ranch," not far from Ruishui Station!
This was also our first time at Jizheng Ranch, and we were immediately drawn to its leisurely and tranquil atmosphere. Compared to the crowds at popular tourist ranches, this place lacks the bustling noise and instead offers a rare sense of peace and freedom.
The ranch sits right next to the beautiful Xiuguluan River. On nice days, you can gaze at the river valley and mountain views from afar, or stroll along the riverbank and enjoy the breeze—everything slows down.
Just search for Jizheng Ranch on your navigation app to get there. There's free parking, making it perfect for a Ruishui day trip or along the Hualien Longitudinal Valley route.

The grounds are spacious with excellent landscaping. Vast green meadows under the blue sky make every casual photo a refreshing natural scene.
The most popular spot for kids and visitors is the "Cute Animal Area"! The ranch keeps adorable goats, donkeys, mini horses, ostriches, and other cute animals for close-up fun.
At Jizheng Ranch, don't miss their high-quality, rich, and aromatic dairy products made on-site! The ranch has a comfortable shop and restaurant full of surprises.
This time we bought: fresh milk pudding, fresh milk, latte, cheesecake, fried mantou, and fresh milk mantou—everything was great.
The restaurant's creamy milk hot pot is also a popular must-try, but we skipped it since we had other dinner plans after leaving the ranch.
Besides the signature fresh milk, the smooth and creamy fresh milk pudding and the warm, fluffy fresh milk mantou carry a light natural milky aroma—perfect as afternoon tea snacks.
We also bought fresh milk cookies that kids love; once opened, they were gone in no time.
Our first visit to Jizheng Ranch left a great impression! No excessive commercial hustle—just vast riverside scenery, cute animals, and mouthwatering rich dairy products and food.
