I found this Yan Zhi Charcoal Grilled Steak on Dalian Street
Reviews were quite high
This really sparked Aru's curiosity
And the prices weren't expensive either
So I found time to bring the kids to try it!!
The place was crowded
Seeing the crowd
I actually wanted to give up
But the kids wouldn't give up
Asked me to check how long the wait would be
I asked and it was about 20 minutes
Unexpectedly my two little ones said they'd wait
Is it because so many people means it's delicious??
Mom thought with so many people let's eat elsewhere

After waiting and waiting we finally got our turn

The meal prices are quite cheap
Just a bit higher than night market steak
The highlight is indoor seating
With air conditioning

Soups include borscht and corn chowder
The counter is kept quite clean
Doesn't feel messy despite good business
Personally think it's a nice plus!!

This borscht has so much sincerity
One scoop and it's full of vegetables!!
Corn chowder tastes quite fragrant too
You can really see corn kernels!!
I think both soups are good
Corn chowder has rich milky flavor
But what surprised me most is this borscht
Tastes great
Tomato flavor is strong enough
Doesn't taste watery
Ingredients are plentiful
Aru drank 2 bowls just of this soup

This one is pretty standard
But one serving adds quite a bit of fullness XD

Ordered because the kids like it

Chicken thigh steak is pretty good
Outside crispy and fragrant
Inside meat has some bounce
Not dry or tough
Kids love it!!
Also the mushroom sauce is good
Flavor not too heavy
But plenty of sauce given
Every strand of noodle absorbs full sauce
Quite flavorful!!
Premium Sirloin Steak
This steak is more tender than expected
Even kids can bite easily
Just feels a bit too tender??
Not sure if it was sous vide
Or some other method
Rich Cheesecake
Has some passionfruit sauce on top
I think it pairs quite well
Makes it less heavy
Overall
I think it was a pretty good dining experience
Considering the price
I think it's quite worthwhile
Food is also pretty good
