Universal VIP8 Private Itinerary~Dinner Chapter: Lombard's Landing

The VIP butler took us to a high-end BUFFET. This restaurant Lombard's Landing is only for Universal's VIP guests to enjoy. We can choose to have lunch or dinner here.

Since Universal is quite large, the easy landmark is the Chinese-style restaurant with a dragon across the street - 龍之珍珠, which we also ate at last time we visited Universal.

It feels like there aren't many diners yet.

The table is already set with cutlery and napkins.

The menu allows each person to order one main dish and one soup, and you can order another main after finishing.

I ordered a pork chop. The dish name is long, and the translation is funny—it's called Three-Yuan Pork. I can only say Taiwanese pork still tastes better; Three-Yuan Pork has a bit of a porky smell. Taiwan is truly the king of pig farming.

After checking, Three-Yuan Pork is a crossbreed of three different pig varieties. I thought it was three-dollar pork.

I ordered mushroom soup. I can only say, never order it. It turned out to be a soup made from ground mushrooms, like a thick mushroom-flavored vegetable juice. I still prefer eating whole mushrooms.

The Italian vegetable soup is okay.

The beef soup reportedly isn't great either.

If you want beef, you must try the carving cart that comes around midway through the meal.

They cut us huge slices. The beef at 6-7 doneness is still tender and super delicious.

There are also many salad bars beside it.

The dishes are all refined, served in small portions with variety.

But for large portions, I also saw turkey legs—super huge. Even if all 8 of us split one, we couldn't finish it, so no one took any.

Bread, curry, cooked vegetables.

There's also the super cute Minion bread, steamed buns, and dessert area.

Churros and fried food area.

Ice cream area.

Dessert area.

Drinks.

We ate until we were stuffed. The BUFFET doesn't have many items, but each one feels refined. Many dishes are pre-portioned in small boxes. It's a great place to eat elegantly~
