That day, wanting to go up the mountain for a cup of coffee and enjoy some leisure, we searched online and found "Xiaotian Lulu" and set off.
Although its address is right by the road, to be honest, when we arrived nearby we were a bit puzzled: "Where is the shop?" This small shop is so low-key it's like a hidden level, surrounded by lush greenery, without a big eye-catching sign, only full of wild charm and plants.
If you're driving a bit fast, you might easily miss this secret cafe that feels full of life.
Xiaotian Lulu is located on Pingjing Street in Yangmingshan, right by the roadside, but once you step inside, the whole world suddenly becomes quiet, completely different from the cars whizzing by just moments ago.
This isn't one of those exquisitely decorated cafes. The outdoor space is filled with plants, pots, greenery, and wooden elements mixed together—casual, lived-in, yet very comfortable.

•Phone: 0931-861-865
•Business Hours: Sat-Sun 13:00-18:00 / Mon 13:00-17:00 (Check fan page for closures)
The business hours here are very "flexible"—open only on Saturdays, Sundays (13:00-18:00), and Mondays (13:00-17:00).
Sometimes they close even on business days, so it's best to check their fan page before heading up the mountain to avoid disappointment!
Walking into the shop, you're immediately drawn to its rugged yet cozy atmosphere.
The semi-open wooden space has gravel on the floor, with no excessive decoration, yet vibrant staghorn ferns and foliage plants are everywhere.
The shop has both indoor and outdoor seating, but the space is small with limited tables and no reservation service. The outdoor area offers a nice view, full of greenery, where you can enjoy the mountain breeze.
The menu options here are limited, focusing mainly on desserts and drinks.
We heard the owner originally started researching cakes and brewing kombucha because she wanted her family to enjoy "natural, additive-free" desserts, and that care is fully reflected in the taste of the food!
That day we ordered two cakes: banana cake and fruit chiffon.
The fruit chiffon was especially loved by our son! The cream was light and not heavy, while the cake was firm yet slightly moist. The little one devoured three slices in one go and still wanted more!
For drinks, we chose an Americano, almond yam drink, and guava fresh milk tea.
The Americano was smooth and not bitter, perfect with cake; the almond yam drink was unique and velvety; the guava fresh milk tea had a gentle aroma without being overly sweet.
One small regret was not trying the shop's specialty "kombucha." Seeing flavors like plum vinegar, chamomile, and lavender on the menu, we'll definitely come back to try this signature fermented tea next time!
"Xiaotian Lulu" offers only simple teas, coffee, and handmade desserts, yet it has a magical ability to relax the mind.
If you also like this kind of mysterious, home-like cozy little shop, next time you visit Yangmingshan to see cherry blossoms or go hiking, make some time to stop by.
