This spot might not feel like much during the day, but it's the latest night view attraction in Penghu in recent years, different from the daytime which looks like a military camp construction
After turning on the lights at night, the entire style changes, turning into a colorful light and shadow landscape, absolutely cannot miss this night view when visiting Penghu, it's just very dark and a bit scary
Shanshui High Ground is near Shanshui Beach, just search for Shanshui High Ground on GOOGLE MAP to arrive
But riding a scooter there at night really makes people feel tense, because the road in the middle has almost no lights
It really feels like riding on Green Island, but don't worry, just ride straight through
Shanshui High Ground was originally a military site and after reconstruction in 2019, pedestrian walkways and sunshade facilities were gradually added
Subsequently, steel structure light landscape installations were set up, with 'Shanshui' image device art, named 'Shanshui Yinghui', creating a 360-degree view whether day or night
We can freely shuttle under its structure to take photos and check in, the light colors seem to change with the music rhythm, varying different light colors, completely different from the landscape seen during the day, plus there are few tourists on weekdays, it's very suitable for couples in love to come here to appreciate the night view
When the weather is clear, the night sky is very beautiful
With the addition of colorful lights reflecting, it appears even more romantic
This Shanshui High Ground is built along the hillside, needing a little effort to climb the slope to reach the top
But while climbing the stairs, this light change is really quite beautiful
It's not just a single color light change, like in the picture below, the blue light will have green and yellow lights interspersed in the middle to embellish
Using Samsung phone's night mode, it can be shot this beautifully, I don't know if Apple phone can shoot this clearly
Arriving at the top area, it feels like coming under an alien spacecraft
As if it's always transmitting messages to outer space
At the top, the color changes become even faster and more vibrant, very suitable for taking techy photos
Of course, besides this light, looking towards the sea, you can see the starry night view clearer and more obvious than in Taiwan's urban areas
Below is the Shanshui Beach where you play in the water during the day山水沙灘, and when we went there were no other tourists, the sound of the waves was particularly noticeable
At this time, you can hold your partner's hand and sit quietly on the stone steps to appreciate the night view, if you're not afraid
This is one of the highly recommended night views in Penghu, it's said you can also watch the Penghu International Fireworks Festival fireworks at the same time
