🌟I've actually been wanting to try this place for a long time. It had been on my list forever, but I recently discovered it's right near my office, just a 10-minute walk away. The moment I found out, I wondered what I'd been so busy with before—it's so close, yet I only made it here now.
🌟This time we ordered boat noodles, Thai milk tea, pink milk tea, chrysanthemum tea, and a portion of fish-fragrant three-layer pork. Before heading out, everyone kept saying they wanted mango sticky rice, but once we arrived, we all collectively changed our minds. In the end, no one ordered it. I guess savory dishes are more appealing during lunch hour—after seeing the boat noodles and three-layer pork, dessert was immediately forgotten.
🌟The shop has air conditioning, but it's not very strong, so it still gets a bit warm later on. There's a big string of pork skin hanging on the food cart, with a note saying you can exchange it if it's too soft. Seeing that sign, you can tell the shop is quite confident about the crispiness of their pork skin.🌟The boat noodles smelled amazing as soon as they arrived, and there were plenty of toppings: pork liver, radish, meatballs, water spinach, and pork. What surprised me most was how incredibly tender the pork was—almost no effort needed to chew. The broth is slightly sweet with a hint of spice, smooth to drink and very appetizing. It's not the kind that hits you with heat right away; the spiciness builds gradually.
🌟I was thinking about adding more chili myself, but I'm glad I didn't. By the second half, I was already starting to feel a mild heat. If I'd added more earlier, I'd probably have been drinking water nonstop. The current spice level feels just right—flavorful without overpowering the broth's aroma.
🌟The fish-fragrant three-layer pork was also delicious. The saltiness was spot on—no need for extra sauce. The pork skin was crispy with a bit of chew, not mushy at all, and it got more fragrant the more you chewed.
🌟As for the drinks, the pink milk tea was a bit sweeter than the Thai milk tea. Both were smooth and free of any artificial flavor. The Thai milk tea is more refreshing to drink, while the pink milk tea is sweet and memorable—like a boosted version of the strawberry milk from childhood breakfast shops. The chrysanthemum tea is lighter and great for switching things up in between.
